US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for second week
HOUSTON, April 12, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 83,000 bbls (3.4%) to 2.382 million bbls for the week ending Apr 7, the Energy Department reported today. It was the second consecutive inventory draw, and inventories have declined in seven of the past ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Propylene inventories were 948,000 bbls (28.5%) below the 52-week average of 3.33 million bbls. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell 1.4 percentage points to 89.6%. -- David Barry
