NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline falter; nat gas rallies
HOUSTON, April 12, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.29/bbl to $53.11/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.34/bbl to $55.84/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.32/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.7 cents at $3.187/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7417/gal, down 1.60 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 14.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was lower at 10.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was down at 3.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was weaker at 7.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB fell to 3.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.12/bbl, $5.67/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
