NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas close week with gains; gasoline probes lower
HOUSTON, April 13, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.07/bbl to $53.18/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.01/bbl to $55.83/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.23/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.0 cents at $3.227/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7349/gal, down 0.68 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 13.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was stronger at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was up at 4.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 8.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.04/bbl, $5.45/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
