US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise most since December

HOUSTON, April 19, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories increased by 141,000 bbls   (5.9%) to 2.523 million bbls for the week ending Apr 14, the Energy Department reported today. It was the largest weekly gain since December 2016, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are still 780,000 bbls below the 52-week average of 3.303 million bbls. Last week, US Gulf refinery utilization was up 3.8 percentage points at 93.4%. -- David Barry
