February NGL production down 3.2% month-on--month: EIA data
HOUSTON, April 28, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids production fell 3.389 million barrels, or 3.2%, in February, according to EIA data released Friday.
Ethane/ethylene production continued to surpass that of propane/propylene coming in at 38.559 million barrels (1.38 million b/d), up 441,000 barrels from Janury. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 32.934 million barrels (1.18 million b/d) in February, down 2.055 million barrels from January.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 9.509 million barrels (339,607 b/d), down 199,000 barrels from January;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: 8.232 million barrels (294,000 b/d), a decrease of 910,000 barrels;
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 11.686 million barrels (417,357 b/d), a 666,000 barrel decline.
