NGL stocks down 8.6% in February, butane levels at 38-month lows: EIA data
HOUSTON, April 28, 2017 (PCW) -– Natural gas liquids stocks fell 453,000 barrels to 4.815 million barrels in February compared to January, according to EIA data released Friday. Butane inventories fell to levels not seen since February 2014.
Propane/propylene stocks fell 319,000 barrels in February to 2.328 million barrels. Ethane/ethylene inventories rose 137,000 barrels month-on-month to 735,000 barrels in February.
Other NGLs’ stockpile data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 616,000 barrels, down 207,000 barrels from January;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: up 4,000 barrels from January to 674,000 barrels;
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 462,000 barrels, a 68,000 barrel decrease.
