NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude sees slight rally; natgas continues rise
Houston, May 4, 2016 (PCW) -— June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.13/bbl to $43.78/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.27/bbl to $44.60/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.18/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 5.5 cents at $2.141/mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4866/gal, down 2.34 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 18 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 5.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 14.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was fell to 12.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.19/bbl, $5.25/bbl under the screen. -– John Troland
