Energy Transfer NGL frac, pipes on schedule; Appalachian project online in Nov 2017
HOUSTON, May 5, 2016 (PCW) – Energy Transfer on Thursday said its 120,000 b/d Lone Star fractionator four was on schedule for start-up in December.
Additionally, the final leg of its Lone Star Express NGL pipeline will begin service in the third quarter. The pipeline ships about 475,000 b/d from the Permian’s Delaware and Midland Basins to Mont Belvieu. The final portion of that project is the 30-inch pipeline.
Meanwhile, its Revolution project in Appalachia now has an expected in-service date of November 2017, executives said. The project include a batch liquids pipeline, a 200,000 Mcf/day processing plant west of Pittsburgh and a 60,000 b/d fractionation facility at Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania.
Earlier this year, the company said Revolution’s start-up date would be 3Q 2017.
Energy Transfer reported 1Q net income of $312 million, up nearly 9% from the $284 million seen a year ago. -- Samantha Hartke
