NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, natgas, gasoline extend gains
HOUSTON, May 11, 2016 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.57/bbl to $46.23/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $2.02/bbl to $47.45/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.44/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.5 cents at $2.173/mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5815/gal, up 9.53 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 20.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 fell to 15 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 3 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was softer at 16 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.51/bbl, $6.10/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
