NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil drops but remains above $46; RBOB climbs
Houston, May 13 2016 (PCW)—June NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.49/BBL, to $46.21. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.11 to $47.86. The July Brent/WTI spread was widened to $1.07/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.9 cents at $2.096/mmBtu.
June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5882 pg, up 0.49 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were higher versus Thursday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 18.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was higher at 14.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 0.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 4.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 14.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.36/bbl, $5.54/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
