NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline stage rally
HOUSTON, May 3, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.16/bbl to $47.82/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.36/bbl at $50.76/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.58/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.3 cents at $3.228/mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5338/gal, up 2.02 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were mostly stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 7.50 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 7.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 12.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was steady at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.63/bbl, $5.13/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
