NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline close week with gains
HOUSTON, May 5, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.70/bbl to $46.22/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.61/bbl at $49.11/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.51/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 8.0 cents at $3.266/mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5046/gal, up 2.34 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 7.50 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 8.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was firm at 13.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was stronger at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.02/bbl, $5.00/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
