NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas shoot up
HOUSTON, May 10, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.45/bbl to $47.33/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.39/bbl at $50.14/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.44/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 6.5 cents at $3.292/mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5396/gal, up 5.01 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 12.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 6.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 9.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 15.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.56/bbl, $4.87/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
