NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline close week with gains
HOUSTON, May 12, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.01/bbl to $47.84/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.09/bbl at $50.87/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.70/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.8 cents at $3.424mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5761/gal, up 1.39 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were mixed versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was steady at 5.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 9.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 16.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was softer at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.54/bbl, $4.66/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
