NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline trek higher; nat gas softens again

HOUSTON, May 18, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.28/bbl to $49.35/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.35/bbl at $52.53/bbl.

The July Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.87/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.0 cents at $3.182mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6063/gal, up 0.36 cpg.

June gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
