NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas end week with gains
HOUSTON, May 19, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.98/bbl to $50.33/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.07/bbl at $53.60/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.93/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.4 cents at $3.256 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6523/gal, up 4.60 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were steady to weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was down at 7.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was softer at 6.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 fell to 11.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB was steady at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.89/bbl, $5.20/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
