NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with gains
HOUSTON, May 22, 2017 (PCW) — June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.40/bbl to $50.73/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.38/bbl at $53.98/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.85/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.4 cents at $3.330mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6626/gal, up 1.03 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were steady to stronger versus Friday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was firm at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 8.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 13.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was steady at 2.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.11/bbl, $5.14/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
