US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop first time in six weeks

HOUSTON, May 24, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell by 59,000 bbls last week to 3.098 million bbls, the first decline in six weeks, the Energy Department reported today. Propylene inventories have risen for seven of the past ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization last week was off 0.4 percentage point at 96.1%. -- David Barry
