NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline close week with gains
HOUSTON, May 26, 2017 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.90/bbl to $49.80/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.71/bbl at $52.22/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.42/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 5.2 cents at $3.236 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6426/gal, up 3.33 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 13.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was down at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 5.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 fell to 10.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was weaker at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.93/bbl, $5.45/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
