NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline probe lower
HOUSTON, May 31, 2017 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.34/bbl to $48.32/bbl. July Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.56/bbl at $50.28/bbl.
The July Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.96/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.4 cents at $3.071 mmBtu. June NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6122/gal, down 2.67 cpg.
June gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 13.50 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 4.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was steady at 11.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB rose to 3.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.71/bbl, $5.63/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
