NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, natgas open week higher; gasoline bucks trend
HOUSTON, June 6, 2016 (PCW) -— July NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.07/bbl to $49.69/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.84/bbl to $50.54/bbl.
The August Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.037/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 6.8 cents at $2.466/mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5887/gal, down 1.88 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 8.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium fell to 6.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was softer at 10.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.23/bbl, $3.61/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
