NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude posts mixed results; natgas resumes surge
HOUSTON, June 9, 2016 (PCW) —- July NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.67/bbl to $50.56/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.49/bbl to $51.97/bbl.
The August Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.075/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 14.9 cents at $2.617/mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6186/gal, down 0.12 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 13.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 5.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 8.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB rose to 1.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.56/bbl, $3.92/bbl under the screen. –- John Troland.
