NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude extends losses; natgas up again
HOUSTON, June 14, 2016 (PCW) -— July NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.39/bbl to $48.49/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.51/bbl to $49.82/bbl.
The August Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.076/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 1.9 cents at $2.604/mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5213/gal, down 1.49 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mostly stronger versus Monday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 12.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 5.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was stronger at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB rose to 1.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.16/bbl, $3.97/bbl under the screen. –- John Troland
