NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil drops 52 cts, natural gas rises
Houston, June 21, 2016 (PCW) —- July NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.52/BBL, to $48.85. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.15 to $50.57. The August Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.067/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.1 cents at $2.768/mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5929 pg, up 1.02 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was steady at 9.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 4.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was steady at 9.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.67/bbl, $4.37/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
