June propylene contracts settle with increase
HOUSTON, June 21, 2016 (PCW) -- June propylene contracts settled on Tuesday at 33 cpp for PGP and at 31.5 cpp for CGP, representing a 0.5 cpp increase from May.
The settlement keep contract prices at their highest level since August 2015, when they were 33 cpp for PGP and 31.5 cpp for CGP.
Spot propylene markets were thin on Tuesday with no new trades were seen. Firm Jun and Jul markets for PGP were elusive. Jun PGP last traded at 30.875 cpp on Jun 16. For the month-to-date, Jun PGP has averaged at 30.575 cpp with a 30-day weighted average of 30.527 cpp. -- Samantha Hartke
