NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude drops more than $2, natgas falls 3.6 cts
Houston, June 24, 2016 (PCW) -- August NYMEX crude futures settled down $2.47/BBL, to $47.64. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $2.25 to $48.63. The August Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.099/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.6 cents at $2.662/mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5250 pg, down 7.85 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were lower versus Thursday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 13.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 5.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 9.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.97/bbl, $4.21/bbl under the screen. –- John Troland.
