NGL production down 3.4% month-on-month in April: EIA data
HOUSTON, June 30, 2016 (PCW) -– Natural gas liquids production fell nearly 3.68 million barrels to 105.106 million barrels in April from March, according to EIA data released Thursday.
Ethane/ethylene production continued to surpass that of propane/propylene coming in at 38.526 million barrels, down 1.053 million barrels from March. Propane/propylene production fell 1.26 million barrels to 35.2 million barrels.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
Butane/butylene: 9.308 million barrels, down 963,000 barrels from March
Isobutane/isobutylene: 9.552 million barrels, an increase of 48,000 barrels
Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 12.52 million barrels, a 450,000 barrel rise
