US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for third week
HOUSTON, June 7, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell by 239,000 bbls, or 7.9 perecent, last week to 2.794 million bbls, the third straight weekly decline, the Energy Department reported today. Propylene inventories have dropped for five of the past ten weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Supplies are 22% lower than the levels reported a year earlier. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization last week decreased 1.6 percentage points to 95.7%.
