NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude oil rises as nat gas falls below $3
HOUSTON, June 13, 2017 (PCW) — July NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.38/bbl to $46.46/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.39/bbl at $48.72/bbl.
The August Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.05/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.8 cents at $2.966 mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4995/gal, up 1.15 cpg.
July gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was steady at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 0.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was higher at 4.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was lower at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.25/bbl, $5.54/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
