NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, nat gas close week with gains; gasoline softens
HOUSTON, June 23, 2017 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.27/bbl to $43.01/bbl. August Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.31/bbl at $45.53/bbl.
The August Brent/WTI spread was widened to $2.52/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.5 cents at $ 2.929 mmBtu. July NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4341/gal, down 0.04 cpg.
July gasoline differentials were mixed versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 12.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was down at 8.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 5.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was softter at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.19/bbl, $5.16/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
