April NGL production down 3.5% month-on-month: EIA data
HOUSTON, June 30, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids production fell 3.983 million barrels, or 3.5%, in April to 108.99 million barrels (3.633 million b/d) compared to the prior month, according to EIA data released Friday.
Ethane/ethylene production came in at 40.612 million barrels (1.35 million b/d), down 2.476 million barrels from March. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 35.856 million barrels (1.195 million b/d) in March, down 924,000 barrels from March.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 8.866 million barrels (295,533 b/d), down 2.039 million barrels from March;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: 10.566 million barrels (352,200 b/d), an increase of 1.575 million barrels;
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 13.09 million barrels (436,333 b/d), an 119,000 barrel decrease.
