April NGL exports fall 9.1%; propane cargoes plummet: EIA
HOUSTON, June 30, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids exports fell 4.309 million barrels to 43.177 million barrels (1.44 million b/d) in April compared to March.
Propane/propylene exports fell 4.515 million barrels in April to 26.79 million barrels (893,000 b/d). Ethane/ethylene exports were down 254,000 barrels month-on-month to 5.043 million barrels (168,100 b/d) in April. Butane exports came in at 5.319 million barrels (177,300 b/d), down 269,000 barrels from March.
Other NGLs’ export data is as follows:
· Isobutane/isobutylene: down 42,000 barrels March February to 101,000 barrels (3,367 b/d);
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 5.924 million barrels (197,467 b/d), a 771,000 barrel increase.
