US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop to lowest level since March

HOUSTON, July 27, 2016 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 265,000 bbls (-8.4%) to 2.898 million bbls, the Energy Department reported today. It was the lowest inventory reading since early March 2016, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Propylene inventories have fallen for eight of the past ten weeks. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization was down slightly at 93.4%. -- David Barry
