NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil drops almost $2, nat gas plunges
HOUSTON, July 5 2017 (PCW) -— August NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.94/bbl to $45.13/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.92/bbl at $47.81/bbl. The September Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.47/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 11.1 cents at $ 2.840 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5024/gal, down 3.24 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Monday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 10.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was steady at 6.75 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 5.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was steady at 9.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was steady at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
