US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise to highest level since May
HOUSTON, July 6, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories gained 108,000 bbls (3.9%) to 2.906 million bbls for the week ending June 30, the Energy Department reported today. It was the first significant increase since early May, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Propylene stocks were still 252,000 bbls (8%) below the 52-week average. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization last week climbed 1.4 percentage points to 95.1%. -- David Barry
