NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline stage rally
HOUSTON, July 6 2017 (PCW) — August NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.39/bbl to $45.52/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.31/bbl at $47.81/bbl.
The September Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.42/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.8 cents at $ 2.888 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5287/gal, up 2.63 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 6.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 10.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was stronger at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.301bbl, $4.73/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
