NYMEX Monday Wrap: Oil tops $46, nat gas drops 7.1 cents
HOUSTON, July 24 2017 (PCW) —- September NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.57/bbl to $46.34/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.38/bbl at $48.58/bbl. The September Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.24/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.1 cents at $ 2.899 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5568/gal, down 0.65 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were higher versus Friday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 7.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 11.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.53 bbl, $5.11/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
