US nonfuel use propylene supplies have biggest drop since February

HOUSTON, July 26, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories last week fell 302,000 bbls (10.4%) to 2.610 million bbls, a 3-month low, the Energy Department reported today. It was the largest single-week decline in inventories since late February 2017, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Propylene inventories have declined for six of the past 10 weeks. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization declined 0.6 percentage point to 95.4%. -- David Barry
