NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline extend gains
HOUSTON, July 27 2017 (PCW) -— September NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.29/bbl to $49.04/bbl. September Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.50/bbl at $51.47/bbl.
The September Brent/WTI spread widened $2.43/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.5 cents at $ 2.969 mmBtu. August NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6446/gal, up 2.73 cpg.
August gasoline differentials were mostly weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was down at 5.75 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 6.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was stronger at 12.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was lower at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.28 bbl, $5.32/bbl under the screen. –- John Troland
