April NGL exports down 4.4%; butane cargoes see steep drop: EIA
HOUSTON, July 31, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids exports fell 1.892 million barrels to 41.285 million barrels (1.33 million b/d) in May compared to April.
Propane/propylene exports fell 283,000 barrels in May to 26.507 million barrels (855,065 b/d). Ethane/ethylene exports were up 891,000 barrels month-on-month to 5.934 million barrels (191,419 b/d) in May. Butane exports came in at 3.145 million barrels (101,452 b/d), down 2.174 million barrels from April.
Other NGLs’ export data is as follows:
· Isobutane/isobutylene: up 145,000 barrels in May to 246,000 barrels (7,935 b/d);
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 5.453 million barrels (175,903 b/d), a 471,000 barrel decrease.
