US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for sixth straight week

HOUSTON, August 17, 2016 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 322,000 bbls (12.4%) to 2.283 million bbls, the Energy Department reported today. Inventories have fallen for eight of the past 10 weeks and are down 28% over the past four weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. US Gulf refinery utilization was up 0.4 percentage point to 94.7%. -- David Barry
