NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline extend losses
HOUSTON, August 30, 2016 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.63/bbl to $46.35/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.93/bbl to $48.38/bbl.
The October Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.03/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.9 cents at $2.827/mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4483/gal, down 1.86 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were weaker versus Monday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 6.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 0.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 7.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 13.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB fell to 2.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.37/bbl, $3.83/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
