NGL production down nearly 2.6% month-on-month in June: EIA data
HOUSTON, August 31, 2016 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids production fell 2.858 million barrels to 108.53 million barrels (3.62 million b/d) in June from May, according to EIA data released Wednesday.
Ethane/ethylene production continued to surpass that of propane/propylene coming in at 41.404 million barrels (1.38 million b/d), down 832,000 barrels from May. Propane/propylene production fell 1.453 million barrels to 34.716 million barrels (1.16 million b/d).
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
Butane/butylene: 9.335 million barrels (311,167 b/d), down 346,000 barrels from May;
Isobutane/isobutylene: 9.665 million barrels (322,167 b/d), a decrease of 312,000 barrels;
Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 13.41 million barrels (447,000 b/d), an 85,000 barrel rise.
