NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline softens; nat gas soars
HOUSTON, August 10 2017 (PCW) — September NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.97/bbl to $48.59/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.76/bbl at $51.93/bbl.
The October Brent/WTI spread widened $3.18/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 10.2 cents at $ 2.985 mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6028 gal, down 1.72 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were weaker versus Wednesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 8.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was lower at 4.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium fell to 8.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was weaker at 12.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB was down at 1.00 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.77 bbl, $5.36/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
