NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil rises close to $49, nat gas slips
HOUSTON, August 11 2017 (PCW) — September NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.23/bbl to $48.82/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.17/bbl at $52.10/bbl. The October Brent/WTI spread narrowed $3.13/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.2 cents at $ 2.983 mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6130 gal, up 1.02 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were lower versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 8.75 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was lower at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 8.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was lower at 12.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was lower at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.71 bbl, $5.52/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
