NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline deepen losses
HOUSTON, August 16 2017 (PCW) -- September NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.77/bbl to $46.78/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.59/bbl at $50.22/bbl.
The October Brent/WTI spread widened to $3.28/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.5 cents at $2.890/mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5638/gal, down 1.57 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was softer at 6.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was down at 8.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 fell to 12.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.44/bbl, $5.61/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
