NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas deepens decline
HOUSTON, August 23 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.58/bbl to $48.41/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.72/bbl at $52.59/bbl.
The October Brent/WTI spread widened $4.18/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.1 cents at $ 2.928 mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6189 gal, increased 2.81 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were stronger versus Tuesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular rose to 8.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 6.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 10.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.52 bbl, $6.29/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
