NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline close week with gains; nat gas falters
HOUSTON, August 25 2017 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.44/bbl to $47.87/bbl. October Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.30/bbl at $52.35/bbl.
The October Brent/WTI spread narrowed $4.48/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 5.7 cents at $ 2.892 mmBtu. September NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6666 gal, increased 0.25 cpg.
September gasoline differentials were stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was stronger at 1.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 3.75 cpg over the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium rose to 15.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 increased to 19.25 steady the screen.
BOB was higher at 5.00 cpg over the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $17.95 bbl, $3.76/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
