US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise for third straight week
HOUSTON, September 14, 2016 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories increased 48,000 bbls (2.1%) to 2.372 million bbls, the Energy Department reported today. It was the third straight increase, bringing inventories to levels not seen since late July, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell 0.7 percentage point to 92.4%. US Gulf refinery crude oil throughput has averaged 93.1% of capacity so far in 3Q. -- David Barry
