NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude crumbles again, nat gas trends lower
HOUSTON, September 14 2016 (PCW) — October NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.32/bbl to $43.58/bbl. November Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.31/bbl to $45.86/bbl.
The November Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.71/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.0 cents at $2.889/mmBtu. October NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3615/gal, down 1.50 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 6.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was stronger at 5.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was weaker at 9.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 10.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was up at 5.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $10.69/bbl, $3.20/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
